Creating a Village

Project Timeline

Update 11/2021

The site plans were submitted to the Albert Township Zoning Chairman. The proposed barn received approval from the township and the county and the building permit was issued. The Bank does not require a permit, so we are able to move forward with the Bank project.

Update 11-1-2019

At the 2019 October meeting approval was given to form a site and building committee.  Greg Arbogast and Lyle Cline will chair. This group would be looking at the creation of a vintage village on the grounds of the museum with the reconstruction of the Lewiston Bank being the first of possible four or five structures.  Once approval from the township and the country zoning commission has been received, a drawing and plans will be published. How much money will be needed to complete the first phase will be determined.  Time, talent and financial support will be sought.
